Luxfer Superform operates from Riverside, California (USA). We specialize in Superforming of Aluminum, Titanium, and Magnesium alloys as a 1st Tier supplier to major OEMs. Established in 1974 Superform serves Customers in all the major markets including Aerospace. 
We are looking for a motivated individual interested in developing a life-long trade. 
THIS ROLE PREDOMINATELY INVOLVES THE OPERATION OF 5-AXIS CNC ROUTER & LASER MACHINES

Responsibilities:
  • Operate CNC machines (5 Axis machines) Rye with Fagor control, Haas VF9 with trunnion, and Prima Laser.
  • Monitor and ensure parts meet manufacturing requirements.
  • Read and interpret blueprints.
  • Perform inspection of parts using measurement tools (calipers, height gauge, etc.)
  • Deburr parts as needed.
Requirements:
  • Two (2) or more years’ experience preferred. 
  • Experience operating the following machines: Rye with Fagor control, Haas VF9 with trunnion, and Prima Laser.
  • Knowledge of inspection tools. (Calipers, micrometers, pin gauges.)
  • Understanding of GD&T.
  • Must be familiar with safety requirements in the manufacturing area.
  • Must have the ability to be flexible, a self-starter, and be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Machine or technical training or setup experience a plus.
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Ability to adhere to the company attendance policy by arriving to work on time, working as scheduled, and clocking in and out for breaks on time.

  • $19.00 to $25.00 hourly DOE (depending on experience)
